Room 303 installation view and performance residue.
"Room 303 is about Lana, a millennial witch living in London, who could not be aware of her superpowers due to the obstruction of patriarchal, capitalistic, and colonialist structures. During her stay in Room 303 of a quarantine hotel, Lana finds herself within an immersive journey and travels to the Planet of Finding Yourself. In this passage she encounters other witches who got buried or burned by witch hunters through history and new forms of capitalist accumulation. In occasion of "Room 303", Naz Balkaya will invite us to explore how Lana and the other witches could face and resist their victimisation with contemporary society through finding a renewed dynamism and collective power, and by revolving to their female roots."
